We charge double-drive time between locations (if your new address is 20 minutes away from the old address we will charge for 40 minutes). This is an industry standard regulated by the Bureau of Household Goods and Services, and compensates us for the round-trip drive.
Drive time is charged at the same rate as our moving rates.
We add a fuel charge $50-$100 per move depending on the distance between locations and the distance from our warehouse in Richmond.
Included Materials: wardrobe boxes, moving blankets, shrink wrap, door jamb protectors, floor protection for entryways, dollies, straps, and tools are included with the hourly rates (for the duration of the move).
Charged Materials: Boxes cost $5-$15 each depending on the box. We charge $15 for mattress bags. Tape is $5/ roll, and packing paper is $60 per bundle.
Distance moves over 100 miles are charged on a weight basis.
